About Me

Idris Dauda is a documentary photographer based in Kwara, Nigeria with an interest in preserving cultural heritage. His journey into documentary photography started in 2017 after being a participant of the Unabashed Workshop In Kwara which fueled his interest in telling stories. He focuses on core stories which are centered around culture and social stereotypes which he uses images to highlight and shape the narratives. Drizz is a professional member of Africa Photo-Journalism Database {APJD} a joint project by World Press Photo foundation and Everyday Africa.

His stories has been exhibited at Tenaui Africa  in Lagos. He's an awardee of the 2018 The Now Collectives Mentorship program and a participant of the 2018 TheNowCollectives/Canon Mirashia WorkShop.
